World Dog Show Dates

The World Dog Shows 2023 will be hold from Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th of august 2023. Each group will be judged at a different day of the World Dog Show. The Best in Show will be judged on Sunday afternoon. CAC, CACIB and World Winner Title are given at this show.

Grand prix de Genève – CACIB Show

The Grand prix de Genève is a CACIB Show for all breeds which will be hold on Wednesday 23rd of august 2023. CAC and CACIB’s are given at this show.

A CACIB Show is an International dog shows for all breeds, where the CACIB (qualification for the title “International Beauty Champion” of the FCI) and the CAC (qualification for the title “Swiss Show Champion” and “Swiss Beauty Champion” as well as junior and veteran titles of the SKG) are awarded.

Breed specialties together with the overview of the specialties

During the World Dog Show Dates the swiss breed clubs are organizing different clubshows.  The national CAC will be given at this clubshow, which counts for the Swiss Show Champion as well as for the Swiss Beauty Champion Title.

Each official swiss breed club has the possibility to organize a clubshow during the World Dog Show dates. If you are interested in organizing a clubshow, please contact us by e-mail under: specialty@worlddogshow.ch.

Best of Swiss Breeds competition

All BOB’s of the listed Swiss breeds are allowed to compete against each other on Thursday as well as on Saturday. The Best of Day from Thursday will compete against the Best of Day from Saturday for the “Swiss Breeds Best In Show”.

Swiss Breeds Best of the day from group 1 and group 6 will be judged on Thursday 24th of august by Mrs. Barbara Müller, CH.
Swiss Breeds Best of the day from group 2 will be judged on Saturday 26th of august by Mr. Laurent Pichard, CH.

The “Swiss Breeds Best in Show” will be judged by Mrs. Lisbeth Mach, CH on Saturday evening.
